i cant tell how obscure it is cause you can find it on the net, but there's like 0 discussions about it or what it is. dev history, concept art etc etc besides some intro videos here and there

You might know the story but VS. only exists cause it’s a localization of fighters impact 🗿

There are many ways to get into the series
But pso is not the loot heavy game you might think it is. Its much more of a relaxed experience outside of PSO ep1/2 being difficult games
Universe also exists too

its amazing to see the memories the devs have of this series since pso's launch on the dc 25 years ago and what they have to say about it. And the art is incredible aswell

the part that akinori nishiyama wrote was my favorite part. he was the game scenario writer for ps4, rayearth and rico in pso and they're all some of my favorites of all time
it was interesting to hear him talk about how he thinks game scenarios in rpgs should be made
