Shrines are how I deal with people and pet deaths (they are the same to me). It can be something as simple as a hat on a shelf or as complex as a mantle covered in photos and belongings. For when you don’t have objects, I might make a donation in their memory or do an activity they liked.

I love rewatching movies. When I was little I got to pick one movie to rent for the week and I would rewatch it all week long until the next movie. I space out my watches once yearly now and have certain movies for certain seasons. Fall is sinking ship movies, June is storm movies, etc.

Yes. It’s their job. It would be like if I had to keep going back to the kitchen in McDonalds and talking the cooks through every step of making my burger and fries. At that point they aren’t doing the job and shouldn’t be getting paid to do it.
