Makes sense. I’m hoping Whittingham’s character and personality impact UM athletics rather than vice versa. UM athletics is in a weird spot right now. Obvs football is a mess, but Hockey and M&WBB appear to have good leadership. Hoping they make a change at AD and we all move on from this. 🙏

I think him being a “bridge hire” is the floor for Michigan’s expectations. If in 4 years he’s competing deep into the playoffs + hauling in top 10 classes of course they’ll prolly extend - but UM will be v happy if he’s scandal free & UM is winning ~9-10 games yr and recruiting hasn’t cratered

Oklahoma, Texas, Maryland and Delaware are definitely not in the South. I don’t think West Virginia is either, but that’s not my call. Only the northern half of Florida is in the south.

Same!!!! If I’m bored or feeling depressed my number one destination is a bookstore. Even just to browse!! The most delicious kind of distraction. Feeds me so much energy! It’s a legit miracle cure. Unfortunately it doesn’t work when I’m stressed or anxious 🥺
