It’s about engaging in a process and putting your mind to something. AI could make stuff prettier and faster but when you’re concepting, that’s completely missing the point.

100%. Using AI for references or placeholders only makes sense if you’re trying to test the waters and wear down people’s resistance to it.

I had similar aspirations but now I feel like I dodged a bullet. I really wish people could just make the art they want to make and also have a living wage doing it but apparently that’s too much to ask for these days
