update: still looking for an apartment, and we got another extension because the landlord's lawyer made a mistake. i'm taking a couple days off for xmas and then i'm gonna get back to trying to make more money and find a place!

I would argue that photo bashing is superior to AI because you still have your hands on it. You’re still making choices instead of letting something make statistically average choices for you. The point of photo bashing is not to produce something that looks pretty, it’s to solve problems.

But…students already can make their own graphic novels. They can just pick up a pencil and do it. And there are books and YouTube videos and art teachers to help them already. But that’s not a shiny product you can sell people
