I wish I could help all the people asking for help on here but I can barely look after myself, sorry. I know I'm privileged as fuck but that doesn't mean I have any money

This is apparently always the pattern with a National govt. They take power, lay off a whole bunch of people, realise that they can't enact their policies without staff, then hire contractors who cost significantly more than full time staff and need training. A strategy both cruel and unproductive

Comment: Minister Judith Collins has relaxed constraints on consultants spend, after the public sector massively over-delivered on promised spending cuts ... and the Govt work-rate slowed accordingly.
Public spend on consultants slashed – but not to those embedded deep in govt

Wait, the feel of the rows and columns and just the memory of which numeral is where.
I'm not great at it, but I can do it a bit

And I can do maths in my head, better than most people seem to be able to. Sometimes I visualise the rows and columns of numbers I'm adding and carrying but it's the feel of the numbers, not the numerals

Sometimes when I can't sleep I visualise 1, 2, 3, then 4 over and over, it takes a real effort to actually see them and they are fuuuucked up but I can feel what they look like easily. 3 is especially difficult to see, 4 practically jumps out at me

Of course I recognize an apple when I see it but I can't picture it beforehand. I mean, if I concentrate hard on imagining an apple I can get flashes of it, usually of the dimple where the stalk goes, but it's not clear. So, a question for you, Earl: can you close your eyes and see the numeral 1? 2?

He's good isn't he? He saw her need to have local councils explained to her and did it succinctly in a way she might understand. Or not

For example, if stop to think about it I can distinctly recall the crunch and tartness of, say, an 🍏 but I can't see the bloody thing.

The alternate word is "feeling."
I have a feeling for the torn grey shirt with faded homemade Bauhaus print, I know exactly what it looks like but I can't picture it. I can feel the texture of it tho, I can feel how thin the fabric is. Ok I haven't thought about this. I recall texture but not sight
