I am so proud of my child. They crushed their reading goals early this year and still going strong! I was able to share some of my favorite series: Bartimaeus, LoTR, Harry Potter, Narnia, Artemis Fowl.
I remember when I was their age, books gave me comfort and joy. Definitely one of core memories.

I am currently listening to The Way of Kings. Does anyone find Kate Reading's narration distracting? It's weird. She ends each sentence with a higher inflection. Is it getting any better? Or will I get used to it eventually?

Yesterday, I successfully got my child hooked on one of my favorite book series, knowing that they would love one of the characters. Then, I traumatized them because that said character died in the end (evil laugh)

STORMLIGHT ARCHIVE BABY! After Mistborn ToG, Elantris, Warbreaker, Wax & Wayne, Short stories, novelas... I have finally done all my homework to read Sanderson Magnum Opus.
Way of Kings alone is 45 hour long. Monster book.
