Trump capitulated to China and got nothing out of it. After weeks of on and off tariffs, the only thing Trump did was cause the market to freak out, screw up the entire supply chain, destroy the dollar as the “reserve currency", and killed the US’s soft power advantage.

So the so-called “agreement” with China is that we roll back some of the insane tariffs we slapped on them, and the talks just go on? How is that a win for anyone?
And what happened to “tariffs will pay down the debt” or “we’ll use them to cut income taxes”? Every day it’s a new lie,hard to keep up
