I didn’t feel like either game was truly 50/50 regardless of how the score played out. Perhaps that’s simply waiting for the shoe to drop based on how this era’s gone, but alas. If they dropped two games in L.A. to start rather than at home, I might be more optimistic, but this is miracle territory.

I’m kind of the mindset that these guys just want this shit to be over & they’ll get out of here in Game 3.

HOWEVER!

Winning Game 3 would not have me buying back in. Winning Game 4 would though, which means they’ll force a Game 5 where the three stars strike out a combined 10 times in a 2-0 loss.

not sure which outcome is the most “Phillies” of them all:

- lying down in Game 3

- winning Game 3, causing them to overlap with the Eagles on Thursday for Game 4 and then washing out a Birds W with a series loss

- winning Games 3 & 4 on the road only to bow out meekly at home in Game 5
