Technology's made individual learning so much easier for teachers. But Bethan makes a crucial point - without leaders drawing that together, it just becomes individualistic.

The EEF research is pretty clear: professional development is the biggest lever for improving outcomes, especially for disadvantaged pupils. More than reducing class sizes, one-to-one tutoring, extending school days.

But only when it's done well.
