A general strike would hit hardest the backers that fund this administration. It would likely be highly effective with anything more that 2% of the working population.

The reason there's so much money flowing into defeating Mamdani stems from oligarchs starting to panic about what might happen nationally if progressive policies are successful in NY.

What's certain is that no one trusts a damn thing Kash Patel's FBI puts out, and if these texts were given to local prosecutors by the FBI, then they're immediately sus. The news here is that no one trusts the FBI. I will say the texts certainly fit the narrative pushed by the white house. 3/

Watching all these centrist pundits stress the “civility” of Charlie Kirk’s style without addressing the ugliness of his substance is giving me a renewed appreciation of how the civil, polite White Citizens’ Councils conned the same crowd into thinking they were distinct from the cruder Klan.

Of course we're not weak; but I know motivation when I see it. Those guys did not want to be there. I've participated in military parades. I was a platoon sergeant and I knew how to keep my troops motivated.
