Everyone knows Tulane and JMU are outmatched.

If I feel comfortable handicapping a College Football Playoff game by 32 points, and would put money on it (but not a substantial amount, because I'm not much into sports betting) -- then the process of selecting competitive teams has failed.

By the way, I would love it the announcers had the balls to editorialize this on air. Just start openly saying, "This would have been more fun if it was Ole Miss vs ND or Ole Miss vs Texas."

For the record, I think a 20.5 point line for Oregon vs JMU was hilariously wishful. 32 seems right.

I have no love for Notre Dame, Texas, Vanderbilt, or any of the other schools who probably have a good case. (But those would be the first ones that come to mind.)

But I also don't think Ole Miss beats any of those teams by 40+. (Which will likely be the result, unless they take their foot off.)
