Yeah, that's the same sort of argument defenders of Labour use, but it doesn't wash with me. I don't care what things once were, I care what they are now. The BBC stopped being a force for good a long time ago.

Actually consider the perspectives of marginalised people they're promoting or aiding bigotry against, and you just might grasp why some of us don't care if it does go away.

The BBC is laundering transphobia, firing or forcing out employees for being pro-trans and giving the far-right a voice that it shouldn't have, while ignoring parties on the left. Whatever the BBC might once have been, it's no less biased than the rest these days.

UK politics isn't a protection racket, and "vote for these fascists or we'll throw you to be picked over by other fascists" isn't a choice, it's a threat.

Try actually listening to what Zack says about NATO. He's not arguing for disarmament, he's arguing for it to be replaced by a European defence alliance that isn't in the pockets of Donald Trump.

Thanks to changes made by Wes Streeting, it apparently thinks I no longer deserve protection from Covid, thanks to tightening the eligibility criteria to save money.

You certainly have some interesting double standards with regards to what sorts of evidence you'll accept. Apparently a period of stormy weather isn't enough of an excuse to not cross in a boat, but one boat being confiscated is immediate evidence of a crossing being planned...

Then again, I guess coherent logic coming from a guy who moans about Farage's paymasters but is seemingly a lot less concerned about Labour ministers being in the pockets of private healthcare is a bit of a stretch.

You clearly don't know the slightest thing about boating, but no it hasn't been calm. You don't need much wind to make it hazardous to cross in a smaller boat and it has recently been a bit too windy to do it safely. Signed, someone who actually does boat trips.

While a lot of trans people are being rendered invisible by current state and media policies, I hope all the gratitude shows that people still appreciate principle and kindness. Thank you.

Call me crazy, but I think this problem might just be being caused by the fact that our wonderful public keep electing terrible politicians that are crap at their jobs, and members of these parties are like cults of personality for said awful politicians.

I haven't paid one for about 10 years, even before they turned full TERF I found it to be a waste of money with evident political bias. Good to see more people following suit.
