My constituent, Wilmer, was mauled by an ICE attack dog despite the fact that, as he has consistently explained, he was not resisting arrest or trying to flee—his wife and young children, all U.S. citizens, were forced to watch helplessly as Wilmer was violently attacked and dragged away.

DIL just did the deed! All social media apps and accounts deleted, including TikTok! I didn’t think she would ever do it. I’m so proud of her. She knows about Bluesky, so hopefully she joins us here, but if not, I’m ok with that.

My 120lb friend was having back pain. She went to the doctor. Doc said to lose weight, eat right, exercise. She lost 25 lbs and was thrilled. Today we learned that she has lung cancer. If doctors weren’t so SURE that the cure to all women’s ailments is weight loss, she would have known a year ago.

Caught in action. Little stinker ran off with it, and I had to chase him round the house to get it back. I seriously think he might actually be a raccoon, disguised as a cat. Also, I’m sorry for my messy desk, lol. I get too excited about the next thing and don’t always clean up the last thing.

Let me introduce to The Joint. A roll-up accessory organizer for all your … err… stuff… if you live in a legal state (or simply don’t give af). Project number 3 is complete. But as I was making it, I realized that could make about 10 more of these for Xmas presents. So projects 3-12 are 10% complete

For project 3, I want to make a crocheted marijuana paraphernalia organizer for my girlfriend who lives in Oregon. Sadly, there is no pattern for such an item on the internet. Thus, I must employ my brain cells (not on the agenda, but whatever), to devise my own pattern.

These are the advent calendars I’m making for my gkids. They are just a cookie sheet and ice cube trays stuffed with candy ( I meant to buy some tiny toys but forgot. I got all the materials at the dollar store, so each calendar cost me about $5.

I don’t know what happened to cardamom, but it’s been really difficult to find and when I finally did find it today, I about had a heart attack. Is this due to tariffs? Was there a cardamom fungus that wiped out this year’s harvest? Space aliens? Wtf?

The kids and gkids have gone to stay on the other gmas couch for the holiday. I’ve got the next 5 days all to myself (not sad about this!). I’ve got 2 bottles of wine, and all of the art and craft supplies a girl could want. I’m going to have a great time.

I screwed up. I thought mushroom season was over and I haven’t been to the river in 2 weeks. Went there this morning and found oysters, just a bit past time for eating. Sigh. I’ll still go out looking over the next couple of days. I have a dream to make wild cream of mushroom soup for thanksgiving
