Please thank your amazing drivers via Alexa, if you have one. When you do, your driver will get an extra $5! This extra money goes along way towards xtra Xmas money for us.

Caught in action. Little stinker ran off with it, and I had to chase him round the house to get it back. I seriously think he might actually be a raccoon, disguised as a cat. Also, I’m sorry for my messy desk, lol. I get too excited about the next thing and don’t always clean up the last thing.

Let me introduce to The Joint. A roll-up accessory organizer for all your … err… stuff… if you live in a legal state (or simply don’t give af). Project number 3 is complete. But as I was making it, I realized that could make about 10 more of these for Xmas presents. So projects 3-12 are 10% complete

Project number 2 is complete. A hoot satchel for my 13 year old niece.

These are the advent calendars I’m making for my gkids. They are just a cookie sheet and ice cube trays stuffed with candy ( I meant to buy some tiny toys but forgot. I got all the materials at the dollar store, so each calendar cost me about $5.

I don’t know what happened to cardamom, but it’s been really difficult to find and when I finally did find it today, I about had a heart attack. Is this due to tariffs? Was there a cardamom fungus that wiped out this year’s harvest? Space aliens? Wtf?

The first Christmas card. The goal is to make 1-2 per day.

Does anyone know what kind of bird this is? I saw it in kuna today. I don’t think I’ve ever seen one before.

I screwed up. I thought mushroom season was over and I haven’t been to the river in 2 weeks. Went there this morning and found oysters, just a bit past time for eating. Sigh. I’ll still go out looking over the next couple of days. I have a dream to make wild cream of mushroom soup for thanksgiving

I was excited to find these little mushrooms on the greenbelt, which I thought were the tasty meadow mushroom, or Agaricus campestris. Meadow mushrooms have pink gills that darken with age. However, closer inspection revealed they were the toxic yellow stainers, which turn yellow when bruised.

Happy World Mushroom Day! Here are some cute little mushrooms I managed to photograph while chasing 18mo granddaughter around the Greenbelt this morning.

Almost time to start adding the colors! Of course, the cats have helped by adding their paw prints.

This one is going in the family collection, but you all can follow along with me as I go along. Also, I *might* offer limited prints, I haven’t decided yet.

The bones are sketched in, now we add detail. Knowing me, it will have a lot of detail work before painting begins.

I’ve finally have a positive ID on these mushrooms growing by the Boise River. They aren’t toxic, but apparently, they taste terrible. I’ve still got my eye out for signs of fall oysters.

Some big huge mushrooms I found along the greenbelt. I’m still working on identifying.
