This weekend, I joined Ukrainians in Bolton to mark the anniversary of the tragic Holodomor genocide.

The event was held at our local Ukrainian Cultural Centre, which provides a home and a community for so many.

Today and always, I stand with Ukraine. 🇺🇦

Strong relationships like Canada and the UK’s are fundamental to economic growth and security.

Today, Keir Starmer and I met to discuss new opportunities in energy, technology, and critical minerals — as well as next steps toward a just and lasting peace for Ukraine and Europe.

I don’t usually post political but very well done to the great Sharon Hodgson MP who, after campaigning for years about ticket touts and sites selling tickets at hugely inflated prices, has managed to get a Private Members Bill through to stop this. What a benefit it will be to so many!

Great to see this CNN interview with my friend @sharonhodgsonmp.bsky.social about her successful campaign since 2010 to cap ticket resales and put fans first

Well done Sharon 👏👏👏- our Labour Government will make this happen
I was delighted to speak to Richard Quest on @cnn.com about the Government's plans to cap ticket resales and put fans first.

The UK has a world-leading live events sector and fans deserve the right to pay a fair price, as is already the case in other countries that have legislated in this way. 1/2

Big shout-out to my friend @sharonhodgsonmp.bsky.social who’s campaigned on this for 15+ years to see it become actual policy: MP = massive persistence 👏🏻

Today I spoke again regarding the horrific war in Ukraine and the three OSCE officials who have been taken captive by the Russian Federation.
