I wanted to title this FIRST BOY CURE but Henri's whole thing is not wanting to grow into a man so maybe not. Still, Cure Infini broke barriers for the franchise and I'm so glad, even six years later, to finally watch the episode. Toku girls get the pink ranger, it's only fair precure boys get this.

So a subplot of the season has been that the president of the evil corporation has been fucking his employees. The first two were women, whose hearts he broke as important plot beats, but the third one is this dude who kneels down near their four-poster and says "I despise you." Show! For! Toddlers!

Like I talk a lot about the gay boyfriends but the gay girlfriends literally have a subunit within the precure where they are the "precure of love" and all their attacks are music and love based and they sing a song about how much they love each other.

The press are trying to trap Henri's boyfriend into saying something incriminating on camera. I know I keep saying it but precure really does treat its toddler fans intelligently. Like this show is for pre-k kids and it's dealing with the celebrity pressure of the closet.

Hugtto's villains are trying to stop time so that nobody will grow old, be sad, etc, so most episodes are about how in order to have joy and love you have to accept that these things must pass with time. This plus a queer subplot about a homophobe being reformed and getting a cute femme boyfriend.
