Like Reform? Passionate about flags? You’re going to hate me.
Another drive through Cowgate, more flags. This is Newcastle. Not East Belfast. It’s not immigration that’s dividing communities. It’s nativism.

It’s almost as if electing people with no experience of how to run local government and an unwillingness to learn or benefit from the wisdom of others might not be a great idea.
🚨 BREAKING: Kent County Council is hurtling towards financial oblivion under Reform.

A shocking new council report reveals a projected budget black hole of £46.5 million for this year. The Reform Administration has completely lost control of our finances. 🔶

Proud that Newcastle has been rated 6th best by Go Outdoors blog for a winter adventure. The North Pennines and Cheviots are fun in winter conditions (wrap up warm). If they haven’t gritted Dean Street you might well end up in the Tyne.

This is what happens when you pursue the hard right on an immigration policy.
Danish Social democrats suffered a massive defeat in Copenhagen last night. They incurred similar defeats across the country and there will be a general election in the next year. In Copenhagen the far-left Enhedslisten (the unity list) won the most mandates followed by the socialist people's party.

All of us men need to stick together, lift each other up and make sure we're OK.

Messages are always open, always here to listen and help where I can.

So why are we wasting our time on it as a major issue then?
‘UK net migration 20% lower in 2024 than first thought, ONS says,’ reports BBC. Estimate now 345,000.
New net migration stats published next Thursday expected to show further fall.

UK net migration 20% lower in 2024 than first thought, ONS says
The main reason for the change is that more UK nationals are thought to have emigrated in 2024 than initially recorded.

“Deeply shocking”.

Not really. This is more or less what I’d expect from that cunt.
💥 NEW: ‘Deeply shocking’: Nigel Farage faces fresh claims of racism and antisemitism at school

“He would sidle up to me and growl: ‘Hitler was right,’ or ‘Gas them,’ sometimes adding a long hiss to simulate the sound of the gas showers".

Hard to know if this is distraction from the Epstein Files or actual sundowning or maybe a combination of both.
Trump is ranting barely coherently to McDonald's franchise owners: "The one pilot said, 'skedaddle!' And that thing just turned on its side -- pppph. And it's so unbelievable. And that knocked out Iran nuclear capability."

If I didn't want people referencing Tommy Robinson's support of my policies, I would simply stop writing the kind of policies supported by Tommy Robinson.
Shabana Mahmood asks MPs to stop mentioning Tommy Robinson's name (in relation to his support for her policies) as "he doesn't even think I am English. I find that offensive."

Support from Badenoch is the kiss of death. And either Badenoch knows this and knows that she can’t win round the caucus of her party or hasn’t the self awareness to see that she’s a political joke.
Kemi Badenoch praises Shabana Mahmood's "measures to crack down on illegal immigration", saying that the Home Secretary is "bringing fresh energy and a clearer focus to this problem, and she has got more done in 70 days in the job than her predecessor did in a year."

Not very good and would have written more with more specific detail if I’d had time but I hope this captures the gist of it. Probably about the fourth letter of complaint I’ve written to my MP since he was elected.

If we don’t signal our virtue every now and again - then so many believe they are utterly alone - “virtue signalling” is not there to say “aren’t I good” but “there are more of us than you might imagine” and “fuck you for demanding that only the brutal and the bullies may speak”

🌍 42.5m refugees
Over 70% of them are hosted by low- and middle-income countries.

🇬🇧 548k refugees
= 0.78% of the UK population.

It is not refugees who tear our country apart, it is the mainstreaming of far right policies. And that’s a risk to all of us.

My letter to my MP.

Illegal immigration isn’t tearing the UK apart.

The far right is tearing the country apart, using immigration as a pretext.

If the Labour Party was really that set on the deterrence of illegal migrants it would seek to ensure that the UK is an unwelcoming place for anyone who wasn’t born here, where economic growth stagnates and quality of life is
falling which no one would seriously consider making their home.

No, Home Secretary. Migration is being used by racists as an excuse to sow division - which is their sole purpose in life. And they must be delighted with your words.
