More than 20 years ago, the Tories were removing the whip from backbench MPs who told racist jokes at private functions.

Today, it seems fine to make openly racist statements if you are in the Shadow Cabinet or seen as a “rising star”.

Not an Ashley fan but you look at some of the absolute chancers who’ve run EFL clubs and SWFC could do worse. They’ll never realise their potential and Hillsborough will become a billboard for HoF but he’d offer dull stability. Just as we had. Absolutely nothing more.

As November approaches, never forget that the BBC pinned a poppy on Cookie Monster.

What a strange slant. Reform didn’t lose the by election any more than the LD’s, Greens or UKIP did. Plaid Cymru won it. If anyone lost, it was Labour.

The Caerphilly result is what we need to see everywhere at the next election: people coordinating to vote tactically for parties which seek a fairer, kinder, greener country.

Someone was in my mentions over this saying "whatever it takes for them to finally wake up!" like libs aren't permanently angry with Trump...they spent the entirety of the Biden years fixating on everything Trump did and said. There's no lack of anger for Trump. It just shouldn't peak with this.
