Gotta love unsolicited dieting advice from a rando man in a parking lot. It's what I get for being fat and a woman in public.

Making a bagel and my head just went "creamy cheesy cheesey cream" man I haven't thought about Foamy the squirrel in so long!

There is something about us moving to a more conservative space socially, and language again becoming more conservative with it. However instead of a church pushing the change it's technology and filters. Unalive and such. My spell check didn't even flag unalive as incorrect.

My child just correctly used "haste." "I'm sorry about the haste" she's 6.

Damn the Wedding People by Alison Espach is a delight. The contrast of death and new starts while honoring your own true self. Beautiful. I have to take a break from reading for the rest of the day to feel my feelings and I mean that in the best way.

Probably a bad sign that I feel panic not having an audio book to listen to. Maybe it's just how it feels finishing a 48 hour book.

Good news. I've moved from uncontrollable crying to feeling like I'm walking across a bridge made of rattan with an endless void below me. Grief sucks.

Childhood is a scam where we keep how shitty the world is quiet and gaslighting them into thinking it's going to be ok

My big brother Dustin died last Wednesday. He was a kind, sensitive, bull headed nerd. A lot of who I am is because of him. He introduced me to computers, opera and loved art. We played Mario Kart. He loved his friends and being an uncle. The world is a darker place and I will miss him every day.

I'm trying to pick between the sequel, which is very long, or the new book, which is stand alone and much shorter...

Here's video of Steve Bannon doing a Sieg Heil today at CPAC. It is what it is and it's what Bannon intended. Don't let yourself be gaslit.

This is what the government did with 120K+ Japanese Americans in 1942.

I know. I was there in those camps.

I am 36% through Wuthering Heights. Everyone sucks and Heathcliff is an ass. This is a slog. Is it worth continuing?

I keep wondering what impact the teaching of sight words is going to have and the social flip from the Harry Potter reading generation to whatever it brings.
