Terrible news from Manchester. The attacks on Heaton Park Synagogue’s congregation are utterly horrific. Thinking of the bereaved families & those recovering in hospital. Antisemitism, Islamophobia & hatred, based on religion, are despicable. Condolences to Manchester.

My sister rang a local radio station to get them to wish me a happy birthday on air. Alas, they misheard my name and wished Seán a happy birthday instead. That was almost 30 yrs ago and I’m still bitter about it.

Guys, there’s no chance of the Irish becoming a minority in their own country. Do you know how many generations it would take for that to even be possible? If that’s something you’re worried about ahead of healthcare, housing, wealth inequality, climate change etc you might just be a racist
