I was a much better parent after I left my kid’s dad. It’s so much easier to parent when you aren’t walking on eggshells and in survival mode all the time.

I try not to judge people based on how they look, but in this case I feel justified in guessing that this dude does not have anything of value to say.

Thank you for this! Both my books are self-published and I feel like they are “less than” compared to “real authors/poets” but they were vital for my well-being and survival to write.

PS have hope; I met my second husband, who is awesome, on Facebook Dating. Good people are out there, you just have to go through a lot of not good people to get to them!
