Fuel Duty frozen again then.

All that speculation and then the OBR releases the budget early.

If the rumoured per mile EV charging comes in it makes it doubly crazy that the gov is still freezing fuel duty.
Since 2011 the fuel duty freeze has cost the Treasury £133 billion.

This huge amount could have paid for lower train and bus fares, better stations, safer walking, wheeling and cycling and much more!

The chancellor will also highlight a rise in the minimum wage and plans to cut energy bills as she tries to win over voters by focusing on cost of living

As an Audi driving, cyclist who quite likes Europe, I'm feeling targeted. And I'm only driving due to serious injury that nearly made me eligible for Motability.

Not often I have to block people on bluesky but the EV evangelists are something else.

Had a bike fit today. I've never had one before and previously relied on a lot of learned wisdom on sizing. Those RETUL bike jig things are really handy! Ended up with a pretty comfy new position even with my gimpy right elbow. Also now looking at 54cm frames instead of 56. Well worth it I think.

Ok, perhaps hide your identity when selling on Vinted. But a) you could have just cropped the image and b) the back of your head?

Ok bicycle people. Time for a new bike. Looking for an endurance road/gravel bike. Due to being hit by a taxi a few years ago, my right elbow no longer allows my arm to straighten so I'll always be riding with a bent arm. That means shorter reach probably and higher stack.

I'm presuming the image showing a twisty path is an artists impression of the new path. I do hope the local cycling campaign have objected to this nonsense. www.bbc.com/news/article...

In Copenhagen at the mo. Bikes everywhere. Was in Paris last year. They get it too. Depressing that in the UK we just don't. The bike lanes here are everywhere and they're not the silly plastic wands or paint, just nice wide lanes with kerbs that don't look shit.

Spotted a used camera on eBay just now so looked up reviews on it to find a 6 year old comment from myself telling people that the built in non-replaceable batteries are a silly idea. That's me told.

Still tempted though. 🤦‍♂️

Today, I visited a car breakers to pick up some parts. It took some finding as it's out near Alsager. Left the breakers with a lighter wallet and the owner telling me at least I knew where they were now "for next time". Bastard.
