This is *excellent* forensic journalism by The Times: clear explanation using video evidence. This is the best of Times journalism.

An analysis of footage from three camera angles shows that the motorist was driving away from — not toward — a federal officer when he opened fire.

I call on my party and my government to remove themselves entirely from X and communicate with the public where they actually participate online and can be protected from such illegality.

Parking on the pavement in London has been illegal for 52 years and in the rest of the UK it's just a fact of life. Central government just opted against a blanket national ban. Anyway here's an excellent advert from when it was banned in London: www.youtube.com/watch?v=a8Yg...

The problem with using ULEZ as an attack line in the upcoming mayoral elections is that it's already in operation.

Anyone who doesn't have to pay it can't be fooled into thinking that they might have to this time - they'll know that they don't.

Leaves you with a minority who'd actually be swayed.

Looking at trains to the Peak District yesterday, decided we'd wait until today since it's the start of the Rail Sale... they've gone up by £10.

Great deal!

Friends who use TfL's bike hire, I highly recommend this app for quickly seeing if there are any bikes/spaces. Far quicker than the official one.

Phone kept vibrating and was driving me mad, realised it happened just as I put it on the table. Looked underneath and it's covered in these RFID things. Wtf 😭

It was powerful enough it even happened when my phone was in my hand.

Moderation on this site is a bit over the top. And anyone without a VPN or having provided their ID can't even see stuff like this

Idea for growth: run public transport at the time of year when everyone wants to travel across the country in order to give people things they will have spent money on

OK, actually there are specifically two trains running in the whole of the UK today.

One is going between Heathrow Central and Heathrow T5, and one is going between Heathrow Central and Heathrow T4.
