This is almost certainly it. They aren't confident that they can spread themselves any thinner and still win.

It's only entrapment if law enforcement entices them into it. If all law enforcement did was pose as a child, and someone else started messaging them about having sex, that is not entrapment.

Usually the injustice is how often they either went unconvicted or got like a month in jail.

No group had less privilege in Nazi Germany than the Jews, FFS. Other racial groups were targeted but the Jews specifically were blamed for everything and virtually all of Hitler's racist ranting was about Jews.

So while I do agree, I think highly addictive things do pose a unique risk that ordinary unhealthy things do not. Once someone is an addict, the notion that they are consenting to using cocaine is a lot more grey and questionable. It's not the same as eating a double cheeseburger.

How can we infer that? Aren't huge portions of the Milky Way far away enough that any species developing at the same rate we are wouldn't have had any radio transmissions arrive to us yet?
