Incredibly honored to be named by the Center for Effective Lawmaking as the most effective House Democrat for advancing environment & public lands policy!

Last year, 8 of my bills were signed into law — the 2nd most in the U.S. House — & I’ll keep delivering results for Western & Northern Colorado.

Every 74 seconds, someone in the U.S. commits a s3xual assault. Every nine minutes, that perpetrator targets a child.
As much as I support the release of the files and want justice for every one of the survivors, we cannot forget that this is also bigger than Epstein. substack.com/profile/3311...

The crumbs the Dems received amounted to ~ we'll stop illegally firing people. The firings were ILLEGAL! And now you think they're just gonna stop doing illegal things cause they pinky swore?
Phang: These firings were illegal in the first fucking place.

It’s like the Republicans are supposed to think that they’ve now done something right by not doing what is illegal in the first place.

Real negotiation creates value. Bad faith negotiation just redistributes it, usually into one party’s pocket. KNOW THE DIFFERENCE. A negotiation without good faith isn’t a negotiation at all, it’s just a slower, more elaborate mugging. Same result, just with more meetings and a veneer of civility.

So the New York Times wants to know if clickbait will make them relevant again… and also if women ruined the workplace.

Let me save you an hour-long podcast: No.

But since we're asking questions, here are some better ones:

#Elections have consequences... and we've seen a lot of consequences lately. Local races often have immediate impact on your community. Low turnout means a small group of voters makes decisions for everyone else. Make your voice count! #vote #trump #electionday #resist #voting #us #uspolitics
It's ELECTION DAY!

If you're voting today, make sure you fill out your entire ballot.

Some of the biggest issues affecting the public are determined by races and ballot measures that don't appear at the top of the ticket.

Since 1975, $79 TRILLION (that’s right, I said TRILLION) has been redistributed from the bottom 90% to the top 1%.

The trick? Making you think this was normal.

The treat? The look on their faces when we take it back.

26% increase in insurance premiums, and I'm just one person - the increase would be devastating if I had to cover other members of my family. They're holding SNAP and WIC hostage so they can increase your insurance premiums so they can line their pockets.

Hey Mikey. I've got questions. Why are your salaries considered essential when you're not working? Which part of being a "co-equal branch" suggests you get to clock out when its hard? Is the plan to resolve this via telepathy, or are you banking on thoughts and prayers doing the legislative work?

I'm not a fan of "The Resistance". Resistance is a reaction. It exists within a frame of a legitimate govt. It's not enough. The people are what powers everything - our money, our labor, our data. Billionaires & politicians are irrelevant without us. Quit resisting. Start asserting your power.

When you break systems, there are widespread consequences. This is what my papa would call "cutting your nose off to spite your face". It's what I call unacceptable cruelty, bad business, and sh*tty governance.
