I like dogs more than I like most people. But I also enjoy gardening and growing my own veggies, Lego, Star Trek, cooking, tennis, spooky stuff and a good book. If I’m not doing any of that then I’m probably at the beach.

January is a time for hibernation and, like you, I’m off til the 12th. I will miss the Christmas lights, everything lacks sparkle now.

Yeah, I worked through a lot of the nice weather. It’s ok though, my workplace will be very busy next week but I’ll be at home with a book.

I join you in feeling smug as I’m not back to work til 12 January. I have a fair bit of leave to use up as my boss kept rejecting my requests for time off last year.

I’m just waiting for the opportunity to casually mention that I worked for the ambulance service for ten years and she’s talking bollocks. But it’s nice that she still had time to pick up a Costa coffee and a croissant during her lifesaving heroics.

I’m at work but have the rest of the week off, and the week after. Currently listening to a colleague blatantly lie about having to help medics at an accident scene, instead of just admitting that she overslept and that’s why she’s 3 hours late. 🤣

I got mine at the beginning of December, so I think we’ve done quite well.
