I like dogs more than I like most people. But I also enjoy gardening and growing my own veggies, Lego, Star Trek, cooking, tennis, spooky stuff and a good book. If I’m not doing any of that then I’m probably at the beach.

Need a little #gardening advice please. I’ve bought some holly plants (two for a fiver - seemed like a bargain) and I’m wondering if I need to pot them in ericaceous compost, or can I just use the peat free compost I got from B&Q?

Lady just came in, coughing her lungs up, saying she feels very unwell and doesn’t know if it’s flu or covid but she didn’t want to miss her appointment. Excellent.

Spent the afternoon house hunting, because sometimes I like to plot an escape from the 9-5. I do love this house - I could fulfil my dream of one day becoming Granny Weatherwax. Also, no neighbours. Perfect.
