I'm thrilled there is a ceasefire in Gaza. But a ceasefire is the base camp, not the summit. A ceasefire is also not a return to peace. There is no peace to return to, only a well-worn cycle of violence, occupation, and oppression that most of the West is comfortable in supporting or ignoring.
