Genetic variation also plays a part, as most of these dogs are mass produced, for lack of a better term. If you're concerned about future injuries, you can talk to your vet about at home exercises and PT, especially if they're highly active.

Unfortunately, there's not much for the vets to do as far as preventative health. It's more so the responsibility of the owner to take proper precautions. Certain breeds are far more at risk for orthopedic injuries (shepards, pitbulls, labs, etc.). It's mostly related to genetics.

From my understanding, yes, but only if it has an invitation written on it (i.e. 'welcome,' 'come in,' etc.). I believe it's an open invitation to fae folk as well.
