This is go to prison forever malfeasance. A guy who is currently a SpaceX employee also serves as an FAA official who cancels a big contract to award instead no-bid to his own employer and starts installing hardware without statutorily required tests and assurances
Of course, Ted Malaska has a whopping conflict of interest here.

He is both:
- a SpaceX employee (identifying himself as a "SpaceXer" on his Twitter/X profile),
&
- federal employee -- and important one at that --"leading an engineering unit inside the FAA."

The Postal Service is in the crosshairs of President Trump, who plans to fire the USPS board and merge the agency with the Commerce Department. This is part of a long history of attacks against the postal service by Republican members of Congress, who have long targeted the agency.

Republicans have been out to gut Social Security for years because it’s one of the most popular and successful programs ever created.

Those who claim to care about the debt while pushing for trillions in tax cuts for the rich and corporations don't really care about the debt.

As Trump tries to dismantle the Department of Education, remember that his plan to cut the corporate tax rate to 15% would give the 100 largest corporations a tax cut larger than the entire department's K-12 budget.

Really think about how twisted this all is.

DOGE is a trojan horse to gut labor, consumer, and environmental protections.

If DOGE actually wanted to cut waste, it would end the massive tax loopholes, contracts, and subsidies that benefit the wealthy and large corporations.

Mahmoud Khalil expressed his political point of view peacefully.

That’s supposed to be permitted in a democracy.

If this egregious assault on civil liberties stands, what’s to stop Trump from arresting American citizens who support any cause his regime doesn’t like?

The same week that Elon Musk baselessly called Social Security a "Ponzi scheme," his co-president Donald Trump announced that he wants to create a national crypto reserve.

This could result in taxpayer dollars being used to prop up an actual Ponzi scheme.

Hello?

The GOP keeps calling itself as a working-class party. But their budget plan calls for huge tax cuts for the ultra-wealthy and slashing programs that help the working-class.

Don't fall for their rebrand.

By late Sunday night, DOGE had erased or altered more than 1,000 contracts it previously claimed to have canceled—amounting to over 40% of all contracts listed on its site last week.

Additionally, we will soon release an updated list of all DOGE staffers.

After we published a public audit on Saturday, Elon Musk’s DOGE deleted hundreds more claims from its mistake-plagued “wall of receipts,” wiping out an additional $4 billion in so-called savings that the group had claimed to secure for U.S. taxpayers.

But even if every federal worker were fired, it wouldn’t make a dent in the massive deficit increase Trump is proposing. The total federal employee payroll amounts to $271 billion—nowhere near enough to offset the trillions being added to the debt. So what’s the purpose here?
