update on one of the spreads I posted a while back

this was one of the illustrations where I redrew some of the clothes to look less like wrapping paper tubes

also the color palette I've been toying with

so. what happened was I misread the start and end dates of dollkigjam when it was posted. and I ended up committing to it being a "spend too much time on one project november" type challenge. so I have a minimum viable product as of last week and printed myself a test copy over the weekend.

lately I've been working on a zine entry for #dollandkigujam. I think it's coming along pretty well... it's a short story about two dork boys(?) fooling around and getting some gender escapism through kigu. inspired by real, actual events*. tw for period-appropriate internalized transphobia
