I got a call on Saturday asking if I could come in Sunday & I obliged. I was covering work from 2 diagrams. Firstly it was Rugeley/B’ham Intl/Rugeley with a break before a trip to Bromsgrove to finish.

/2 the last part of my shift involved attaching some #Class350 together to make 12 carriages & driving it ECS to Birmingham International where I detached one, lowered all the pans, turned the batteries off to stable for the night. I was only 3 weeks away from losing competency on the class 350…

I was back in the driving seat yesterday. I was booked to do a trio of Bromsgrove & a Soho. However, I did a swapsy with another driver for the last trip so I went to Redditch & he did my Broms/Soho. #DayInTheLife #TrainDriver

Baxter’s main Christmas present was a football development training day at the #Spurs Training Centre in Enfield with the clubs coaches. He’s had a super day practising football skills topped off by meeting Scarlett & Solanke. He came away with a bundle of Spurs gear inc. the 3rd kit & a medal.
