This is like the OpEd in yesterday's NYTimes saying Shapiro is a promising leader because he fixed the roads quickly in PA, and is competent. What world are they living in when Trump is destroying the country in countless ways?

We stayed at my in laws' on the UES for about 6 weeks during work on our apartment. When we came back to our place, our then 6 year old daughter said how much she was happy to be back on the west side!

It's also morphed into disgusting Islamophobia. I hadn't realized this much latent bigotry existed among NY/American Jews. I was sure naive, sadly.

Our dog is so sweet and chill w/respect to meals and walks that he just goes with the flow all the time, can be fed/walked kind of whenever. We are very lucky. (He had bad separation anxiety, which sometimes recurs, so we've had our share of other challenges.)

The whole country has shifted to the right enormously since Rabin's assassination 30 years ago today. They have been complicit in permitting the occupation to grow like a cancer, at best ignoring it. The problem goes far beyond Bibi, Ben Gvir and Smotrich.

And her sister Liz was happy to throw her under the bus. (If the movie "Vice" is accurate, Dick Cheney was never a right wing culture warrior. That came from his wife, who apparently influenced Liz.)
