His mother was on life support at a local Detroit hospital.
Harmon was able to tell his mom he got drafted on Thursday night before she died.

I'm amazed by how many people would hold those who look like me to higher standards than those they would hold themselves to. I'm just as amazed by how many of those people view those who look like me as a threat.
