It must be weird to be a centaur. There are these people with the upper bodies of centaurs but tiny lower bodies and only two legs. Then there are these other creatures with the lower bodies of centaurs and huge heads but no arms

Up until I founded Shewstone I always wanted to play a Lawful Good PC. I think my fantasy was for honor and kindness to be appreciated. (Reactions from other gamers were mixed.)

Looking at what other people find fun opened my eyes to the joys of #TTRPG hijinks. Now I am all about skullduggery!

You're so right. The ruling that AI trainng is "fair use" means copyright holders have no way to prevent it. It's not about money. It's about denying these companies use of our work. After this, we can't say no, and if money is what you care about, be aware this is the last money Anthropic will pay.

Just a reminder to check for your name in this list of books that OpenAI trained from. If your name is there, they probably owe you several thousand dollars.

OpenAI cried that if everyone eligible author files, the company will go bankrupt, so I'm alerting every author I have ever spoken to.

Adobe pushing AI image generation hard (boo!) and the stock art collection is polluted by some AI slop (boo! hiss!)—but, compared to competitors, the "exclude AI" filter is somewhat more reliable. I also find more fantasy artwork in Adobe's catalog than in my previous provider, 123RF.com.
