The film’s best scenes are Dylan’s pilgrimages to Woody Guthrie’s bedside, where he shows his most vulnerability.Too bad the script is not so interested in asking/answering questions about one of the most famously enigmatic artists. Ed Norton kills it btw (same with Elle fanning and Johnny cash guy)

Loved A Different Man (2024), and look forward to rewatching with foreknowledge of its ironic twist and meta narrative. A great companion to The Substance (both feature fantastical cosmetic procedures), but this one is a bit slyer (less insane body horror though). 5 popcorns🍿🍿🍿🍿🍿
