the thing i really dont like about hytale is the generic aaa crafting system. it doesnt need to be like minecraft but i feel it needs some kind of tactility or else it feels like Menus. I don't want Menus i want things i can move around. feel like im actually crafting.

so thankful i get to start using her in comics. i switched her up a bit from the original design because i want her to be nerdier but the groundwork is there.

its peeving me that using CSP's HSL sliders to remove saturation produces a DIFFERENT IMAGE compared to using a filled gray layer with a saturation/color blend mode.
Weighing hue brightness is a normal part of converting to b/w but I always assumed these two methods would show the same result

the character heights make no sense because zoey's short legs means she's nearly at standing height when sitting. but then she wouldn't fit in the frame with the others...

i literally will never say the province in a comic thats like too real. that will root it too far in reality. I will also never name drop vancouver but they live about a two hour trip from vancouver or a conceptually vancouver-adjacent city. but like in presumably a less developed british columbia.

It's so easy to lose interest in a project, especially when you begin to get insecure. That first page of this group was the first I'd done in a while, and the quality was truly something to be disappointed in, but I refuse to redo stuff, because then I will be redoing the entire comic over and over

Gamemaker UI is hard. I refuse to use the UI layers because I don't understand them and I'm assuming they're just a little too underdeveloped to really allow for much. Setting up a scroll menu like this with mouse controls already makes me feel accomplished.
