I’m assuming the interesting Wigeon is the very creamy headed bird? Puts me in mind of the “Storm Wigeon” from N.Wales last year. Well worth searching for.

In my experience if it quacks like a Siberian Chiffchaff it is one. With good views and a general lack of greenish tones except in the wing or tail it always turns out to be one.
