I like when RPGs *don't* let you swap party members in and out. I prefer being given a core group for the game.
Let me focus on a few strong characters, for gameplay and story. I also don't feel like I'm missing out by choosing one character over another 👍

There is just something special about Dragon Quest VIII. The characters are charming, the setting and world are interesting and fun to explore, and while the story isn't anything crazy it never fails to be bring me joy.
I love this game a ton. If you have never played it before give it a try!

There is just something special about Dragon Quest VIII. The characters are charming, the setting and world are interesting and fun to explore, and while the story isn't anything crazy it never fails to be bring me joy.

Sakurai outright said Kirby Air Riders will receive no DLC and will not become an ongoing series.
This is a game they've packed everything into and was made due to fan support, Nintendo greenlighting this and his development team at Namco.
