Something that's helping me of late is to force myself to do more long-form reading / writing / watching and less short-form. Improving my attention has made me feel more confident (& competent)

Cronyism is often a necessary evil in poor countries. Perfect competition in a market with low per-capita spending means no firm earns enough to invest in R&D, QA, new products, or labour upskilling.
