My friend was telling me last night about how his dad has been thoroughly radicalized by propaganda from Fox News and NewsMax. it's scary how people can be so easily brainwashed into believing awful things (e.g. "everyone at the no kings protests should be shot") when they weren't like that before
And the daily RW media radicalization that makes them deeper lunatics & cult believers every day. I guess if no one tells them that it's wrong to be a brain-dead mouthpiece for evil they will never even question it bc they lack their own moral compass.

as someone whose day job is in a very red industry, seeing all kinds of people show up for the #nokings protests has been really reassuring, like, there actually are a lot more non maga people than I feel like we realize. It's fucking hard but don't lose hope 💜

In the first few lines of this song, I reference the short story "The Most Dangerous Game" by Richard Connell. I read it in school a long time ago, so I'm surprised I remembered it. I'm glad I did, tho, bc, well, I got this song out of it lol !!

It takes me so long to make demos 😭 but ig I just need to remember that it is worth it to take my time. If I'd rushed ahead with my first single "Sanctuary" it would Not sound like it currently does. im at my day job rn and tbh just feeling grateful cuz a lot of ppl I love are going thru it atm (emotionally/financially/physically) and I hate seeing it :(( if you are in a tough spot rn, I believe u CAN get thru it. reach out to your village if you can. please dont be afraid to ask for help ❤️🩹
