This happened to my super healthy grandmother after she got covid in retirement home in 2020. She tested positive but had NO covid symptoms, it was confirmed w/ "broken glass" lung X-ray. She instead got inflamed stomach issues, then this, then hospice then death. All within 3-4 months.

Pretty hard to find a brown or black person in any of those promise photos of "generic Americans."

Better than the disgraceful $7.25/hr or $2.13/hr if you're a tipped worker (so customers must pays $5.12/hr for their salary).

40 hr/wk at $15/hr is $31,000 before taxes. NOT a livable wage in most places w/ rents/house prices, groceries, electricity & health insurance. Livable wage is $25/hr min.

Make something!!! On Xmas Eve or Xmas morning make breakfast in bed, with a thoughtfully written message in a card you make, on the tray. Or make coupons with things you'll do in the future like make her dinner or take her ice skating or whatever. Have fun with it! Spending $ isn't always better 🤷‍♀️
