Ys X platinum trophy is finished. Wonderful game. Not quite up to Ys VIII or Ys IX, but I still loved it. The ship exploration and combat was a great addition. If they decide to port Proud Nordics to PS5, I'd gladly play through it again.
Everyone should play Ys.

Did they originally plan this as a mobile game or something? This gacha character sucks. Spend 15 hours farming materials for the items you want, or 10 hours save-scumming the slot machine.

Shining Force EXA is done. I liked it. Camera view kinda sucks, and you end up getting one-hit-KOed from off-screen enemies on occasion, but I had fun with it. The art style is great, and I love using the machine-gun crossbows.

I'm really having fun with Shining Force EXA; it's kind of like a Japanese take on the Diablo formula. Combat is a bit simple and it has some camera issues, but it certainly scratches that "numbers go up" itch. I like getting to a new area, and "oh I just got 15 levels."
The art style is gorgeous.

Soul Hackers 2 platinum trophy is done. I enjoyed this one a lot more than expected. JRPGs need more stories with an adult cast of characters.
