Happy Chris Carter's wife's birthday, everyone!

I cannot wait to watch this and am extra excited that it seems to have a pull quote from a fictional Adam Sandler character.

Everybody has an answer here. Mine has long been that you just bring back Craig and do THE PRISONER.
James Bond’s death in No Time to Die is causing a nightmare for the next film. Writers are stuck because Bond “was blown to pieces.”

Anthony Horowitz, author of three 007 novels, says:

“You can't have him wake up in shower and saying it was all a dream."

The Republican Party is doing so poorly tonight that you'd be forgiven for assuming it's likely headlined by Jared Leto.

STAR TREK: KHAN was great. My only complaint is that I kind of wanted George Takei's final STAR TREK line to remain, "The horsey's going to bite you now."

ONE BATTLE AFTER ANOTHER is SUPERMAN, but from the perspective of Jonathan Kent.

Not all monarchies at bad. Clovis, for instance, recently declared herself Queen of the couch and her reign has been much lauded so far.

ENCOM leveraging four decades of R&D to figure out how to grow new oranges is actually a pretty good metaphor for how A.I. really works.

Sorry, TRON ARES. Your potential as the ultimate soldier no longer has any practicality in our post-beardo society.
October 7, 2025 at 5:03 PM
TRON ARES is as bad a time as I have ever had at the movies. This is the REBOOT: THE GUARDIAN CODE of the TRON franchise. I truly hated it.

I only *just* learned that, in SPAWN, John Leguizamo's Clown says, "I say destroy the cosmos, ask questions later." I legitimately thought he was just being a weirdo going, "I say destroy the cosmos and Christian Slater."

With less than two weeks to go before the new sequel opens, Disney isn't selling a single item related to the TRON franchise on their website.

Gentle reminder that in the late '50s, the U.S. government did not censor comics. Comics companies censored themselves.

Not sure why that crossed my mind today but there it is...

I'm choosing to believe that the song selection of "The Dark End of the Street" in WEAPONS is a nod to its use on MILLENNIUM and that's why Alden Ehrenreich is cosplaying Frank Black in that scene.
