I don’t get the hold Trump has on theGOP; were he a democrat, they would have implemented the 25th amendment 100 times over by now.

In the decades since, I’ve had multiple other allergic reactions (Stevens-Johnson syndrome) to other antibiotics and latex.
I’ve spent more time in the hospital with one illness or another than most people in their lifetime.
But c’est la vie.

I had an emergency tracheotomy, which doctors said would only be for 6 months.
34 years and multiple failed reconstructive surgeries later I still have a trach.
And to make matters worse my vocal cords were accidentally severed during the tracheotomy rendered me effectively mute.

Things took a turn for the worse. I lost over 85% of my epidermis and the doctors feared I’d might go blind if the sloughing spread to my eyes.
I slipped into a coma for 6 months and was placed on a ventilator.
I came to in time to celebrate my 7th birthday. Then my airway collapsed.
