I was 6 years old when I had my first and most severe allergic reaction (Toxic Epidermal Necrolysis) due to Penicillin and Dilantin.
It started with a red rash, then a fever that peaked at 104F when my parents finally got a second opinion at Children’s Hospital in Detroit.

I poured my heart into it and it flopped.
But I continue writing because it’s how I make sense of the world and my place in it.
Because there’s a universe of stories in me that demand to be told.
