I Should Be Working — Part III A poem by Silvia Passiflora Some people stitch thread through fabric, some knit their minutes into blankets, and I, despite all intentions, keep embroidering the air — tiny constellations of words that pull me forward even when I think I’m resting. I should be working, but every time I try, a poem taps my shoulder like a child asking to be carried, and who am I, really, to deny something that needs me more than my inbox ever will? So here I am, writing instead of accomplishing, choosing breath over burden, choosing softness over structure, choosing the long miracle of being a poet who still lets poems interrupt her day. 3/3

The Choreography of Grief, Part 2 by Silvia Passiflora I wonder how they will look at me when my own hands begin to shake, if I will be met with softness or with the same exhausted love we offer her now. Some nights I think it might be kinder not to live that far, not to see myself become another lesson in how grief is prepared long before it arrives. For now I sit beside her, listening to time breathe, and I hold the moment steady as if stillness could save us from the dance we already know.
