EXACTLY it's so... impersonal. A stream is a stream, hanging out. If i post a short it's cause i wanted to share a cool moment. Content makes me feel like i have to hit a quota and meet standards and do this as a job

btw this isn't a call out post because a TON of people do this, similar to how "unalive" is popular wording for DEATH KILL MURDER etc. there's absolutely no need to walk on eggshells, throw the eggshells in the garbage

i think this is the result of small streamers copying big and/or corporate streamers. if you're like me and have 3 viewers literally nobody cares if you make a death joke on stream.

the general thought i follow is "would a reasonable person have an issue with this" and the answer is always no

some people just round me up to white and like... idk maybe I'm wrong, but i think i count as mixed, I'm 4th gen. but any time there's a call for poc for something i step back because I'm sure they're not looking for someone like me
