This is going to be an increasing maintenance issue. Ai creating imaginary URLs that never existed and we have to sweep up after them in case we miss out on potential traffic.

I have systems set up to flag 404 urls and where their referrer so i can make a quick decision on redirects.

the steady rise in impressions on my site is mainly from my log store article which I am guessing is a seasonal growth - it has not been on there long enought to work that out fully.

The reality is it is fresh content and if it doesn't get the traffic over the next few days it will drop out.

i tested in another browser and VPN'd to the US and get the same as you, so it's a regional variation.
